boot the PC normally, then hit ctl-alt-del and write down all the system processes running. do the same in safe-mode and compare the two. google any of the ones that don't appear in SF and find out how to get rid of them. hope that helps

FF X-II's one saving grace was the job system but Halo for sure, just so we can all play some original FPS games. system shock 3 anyone?

depends on the types of games you like really. maybe go for some of the classics: fallout 2 is amazing, sorta turn based isometric shooter baldurs gate 2 if you like RPG's starcraft is a great RTS game and unreal tournament for a solid FPS
