Hey it was Burrs idea to duel...you said it your self "he was strongly AGAINST the practice of duelling". And Hamilton was't really slandering Burr, he was just criticizing his ideas to make sure that it was the best decision which was essential in a new-born nation.

It seems like Burr was being the "d*ick". When he saw Hamilton shoot up instead of at himself,but Burr didn't care. Burr chose to shoot him. That makes me glad that he didn't become president or governor. And I don't see Aaron Burr on any U.S. money...mabey its a sign.

Who is the best founding father? My vote goes to Alexander Hamilton, for he was killed in a gun duel with Aaron Burr, and thats badass.
