I would have to disagree with that. DA:O was much better than DA2. The only arguable "improvement" upon DA:O was the combat system and to be honest I'm not sure if it was really much of an upgrade. Story was weaker, areas were way overused and pretty much everything was less engaging than...

If they had been working on this DLC beforehand that means they would have expected the reaction to the ending before it was released. If this were true you would hope that they would have not gone forth with what they had. Just seems too fake to be true
