Yes it does, any given person can (with games that are good for mouse) train himself to be better with mouse than with joypad, just as he could train himself to be better at a car-sim with a wheel than with a keyboard, or better st a fighter with a joypad than a wheel.

Yeah sure, several controllers are equally good and they just happen to like the same controllers all of them. Sounds extremely plausible.

Don't ask so difficult questions, its all a matter of preference, obviously there is no tool that is better suited for a certain job, just train abit and you will do just as good a job with the hammer as the screwdriver :)

In high level FPS-play you would get raped using a controller in place of a mouse/keyboard. In RTS you would get raped so much it wouldn't even be funny. Imagine playing a game of starcraft with a joypad.

I see that all the "it's a matter of preference"-guys consistently ignore the fact that in all high end competitive gamings, people use almost exclusively the same control-setup. How do you explain this? Random chance?
