Dark Souls is not there to make you happy. It is there to beat the shit out of you over and over again. The boss actually has a really easy strategy. You'll have a hard time blocking anything with a cracked round shield. If your shield sucks and you can't get a better one, dodge. Cheap deaths...

Maybe it's because I just started the series, and maybe it's because I haven't played the first or third installments, but I really enjoyed Mass Effect 2.
