definitely the Final Fantasy series, though I'm not sure why everyone loves 4 and 9 so much, I consider them to be two of the worst. I would say 5, 6, or 7
given that I'm transgender myself, would that mean that it would be a version of me who would be me if I hadn't transitioned? and if so then definitely not
but that already exists as it is, in that you dont know exactly what your enemies can do, or you dont know a dungeon layout until after you've been through it
I would think the pursuit of making the character as best as they possibly could be very interesting... I'm confused, how does "a player tries to get the best they can" translate into boring?
OT: it depends, if its a case of "go to shop, buy weapon, test it, reload save, buy different weapon, test it, reload save if the other was better" then I could see that being very boring
its all about what you have overcome... building your characters and watching them grow, figuring out the best way to overcome each area, using your brain to mould the perfect team, and after many many hours, finally beating that one secret boss... all these things are very satisfying, whether...
it seems as though I don;t get immersed the way other people do... I dont care about characters, stories, and all that stuff, I just want to win... and if I worry about real failures that actually effect my game, such as losing a ton of gold, not an NPC dying. Guess in tabletop RPG temrs you...
I never meant the game itself would be free, I meant the DLC would become free. If your statement is that you would prefer to not pay for something than pay for something then you have stated the obvious.
Lets go back to the sandwich analogy
