What are you reading? What books have you got lined up?

Would definately recommend The Name of the Wind, 'tis a great book. I'm currently reading Salute the Dark, 4th book in Shadows of the Apt series by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Once finished I'll be moving onto The Scarab Path (5th book in the series). Waiting in reserve I've got The Wise Man's...

GAME not stocking Mass Effect 3

I'm in a similar position to you, I got the email when I got home form work an hour ago so I've missed any chance of getting the redistributed PC Collector's Editions. Guess I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and get the DDE from Origin.

    Controller life expectancy

I've never had to replace a controller. This is despite some pretty heavy use when I was younger (ie before going to uni) and my wee brother who has ridiculously sweaty hands.

Hardest dificulties that are ACTUALLY BLOODY HARD!

Nightmare difficulty on Dragon Age: Origins, particularly The Golems of Ammgarak DLC. I've done it once, got the achievement, and will never do it on nightmare again. The Reaper takes a lot of killing, not to mention that room with the 4 boss level and 4 lieutenant level golems.

An open letter to James and Alexander

Well done, this is one of the very few reasonably level-headed responses that I've read on this subject. I agree, we have nowhere near enough information on this subject in order to make an informed decision. There are constant complaints about knee-jerk reactions by media outlets against...

Parents helping there kids through Uni - What do you think?

Of course parents should support their children through uni. If they don't then your student loan would be much higher than it already is. Also, there are some degrees where it is not possible to get a job, e.g. veterinary, I speak from experience here, the work load it just too great.

think back to the last three games you played

Hmm... That would make me Commander Shepard fighting the Archdemon in Kirwall. That dragon wouldn't stand a chance.

    Poll: Oblivion or Fallout?

I prefer Oblivion, but that's just because I prefer the fantasy setting. Fallout 3 is still a solid game but but it has far too many bugs/crashes for my liking which eventually led to me leaving it half finished.

    Poll: Do you buy DLC?

I'll only buy DLC for games that I enjoy. Eg, I bought all of the DLC for Dragon Age: Origins, however, I never bought any of the Fallout 3 DLC because that game frustrated the hell out of me as I could never play for longer than 20 mins (if that) without the bloody thing crashing on me.

    Catch them all?

You'll still need to trade to "Catch 'em all", but it's not as arduous as people make it out to be. Sign up to the Serebii.net forums, they have a forum for each specific family so it's easy enough to find what you're after or just offer something and hope someone will take you up on it.

You've just woken up naked next to the lead singer of the last band you listened to

Meaning that I just woke up next to Annette Olzon, sweet!

What's the most exotic meat you've eaten?

Yup, knew that. 'Wild boar' refers to a species rather captive status.
