I'm not positive of the controls off the top of my head, but when I had my 360 controller plugged into my computer, One Finger Death Punch instantly went to controller bindings instead of mouse, and same with Rogue Legacy.

If you can go back, I would recommend the Front Mission Series. Try to avoid Front Mission: Evolved though. It has Mechs, upgrading characters to fit specific roles, and very little economy.
