The Division DLC Delayed to Address "Lingering Issues"

Too little, too late. I was a fan of this game when it did the two betas, and then when it came out in March. But when that first major patch hit and introduced the first Incursion, everything went downhill from there. Incursions are long and boring, enemies hit too hard and take too much...

Evolve Returns to Steam as a Free-to-Play Title

As a fan of the game who still plays occasionally on PS4, I think this is a step in the right direction. The game is lackimg a strong playerbase, and perhaps by going free, it will help bring more into the fold, at least enough for matches to be made up without bots. I hope they stsy smart...

The Division's Underground DLC Isn't Showing Up for Some People

This game started off as one of my favorite ones of the year, and I loved it in both betas and the initial release. But then the first major patch hit, and everything went downhill from there. Incursions were boring Horde mode grindfests with ridiculously damaging enemies and lackluster...

Prey Returns, Developed by Arkane Austin

There probably won't be a Tommy, as this seems like a reboot instead of a sequel. I kinda figured Prey's shtick was "mystical Native American abilities" versus alien technology, but they abandoned that with this.

Bethesda Details Next Fallout 4 DLC

So are they trying to compete with Minecraft or something? The majority of the DLC for this game has been all about building things, with Far Harbor being the only meaty one with a new area and story to explore. Makes no sense...

Sony Baffled by XB1 Backwards Compatibility - Unlikely to Come to PS4

Honestly, I don't think it really matters with this. PS4 has "backward compatibility" in the form of PS Now. It's not true backward compatibility like the past, sticking an old disc in a new console, but it's something if someone REALLY wants to play a PS3 game and they don't have a PS3...

Gearbox Would "Love" to Re-Release Homeworld: Cataclysm

I'm sure if they really wanted to, they could take the irreplacable assets, like voicework and music, they have from an original copy and use them to build on the source code of HW HD. Maybe.

Fantasy Flight Games Starting Euro Classics Line, Brings Back Tigris & Euphrates

I hope that's true, then maybe we'll see shorter print times for things, ESPECIALLY Core Sets of LCGs like Conquest and Game of Thrones 2.0! It's tough trying to make a sale into an LCG when there's no core set to start with.

Fantasy Flight Games Starting Euro Classics Line, Brings Back Tigris & Euphrates

"Advanced distribution and production chain"? While I love a lot of the stuff FFG produces, namely their LCGs and RPGs along with numerous board games, they are notorious for their small print runs of practically everything, especially core sets, and long wait times between print runs to get...

Pre-Purchasing Evolve on Xbox One Lets You Skip Grinding

The game itself is great. I have loved what I tried both a few months ago and today (except when they screwed up royally a few month ago with the PS4, had to "play" PC version if you could call it that on a 5+ year old laptop). I have no regrets placing a $5 pre-order to buy it on Feb 10 on...

Trademark Suggests More Aliens Despite Colonial Marines Debacle

ACM was a big problem, but that doesn't necessarily mean this game will suffer the same fate. Granted, I don't think of much besides Total War when it comes to CA, but we'll see what happens, they could surprise us.

Jimquisition: Reasons To Pass On Season Passes

I used to think Season Passes were good. After all, not only does it promise to save me money but it saves me the effort of needing to buy the DLC and download it when it just downloads it automatically. But it's starting to make sense how the DLC takes forever to come out (Bioshock Infinite...

PS4 Online Multiplayer Requires PS+ Subscription

I would think being able to download, play and hold onto a bunch of games without needing to pay anything extra constitutes being "free". It's PS Plus that costs $50 for a year, while the games themselves are given away free of charge. But that's just semantics at this point. Bottom line...

PS4 Online Multiplayer Requires PS+ Subscription

This is hardly the kind of news that will kill Sony. Does it suck considering PS3 currently doesn't do it? Yes. But let's face it, PS+ is a lot more than just MP access. Free games every month, beta access to new games, full game trials, discounts, cloud saves, and auto system...

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Goes Free On PlayStation Plus

Well, I'm glad I don't have to worry about losing my copy of inFamous 2, since it's safely on my system and I plan to remain a member for as long as possible.
