I know how you feel. That's why I find myself going back to those little gems I find. Years on, I still pick up FF7 when I look at my current 360 collection in disappointment.
They can't do that. The reason why they have warning labels on an obvious cup of hot coffee is because of a lawsuit of a woman suing for spilling it on here. If there is a warning label, they are no longer responsible.

I work for Best Buy and wandering around the company message boards I've seen rumors of Best Buy considering a form of what Gamestop is offering.

I think they already have. I can't remember the name, but it's pretty much text based with limited graphics. Someone probably knows what I'm talking about.
I grew bored of the game and Mercenaries mode. Even if it was free, I probably wouldn't download it.
I expect this from game companies now. An online mode is pretty crucial in an action oriented game, and not including it at release is just dirty.
