I'm a die-hard PC gamer, I bought my PS3 years ago for Rock Band and blu-ray movies when they were new. Pretty much the only things I really played on it that I'd recommend are Red Dead Redemption and the RB series, if it's still available. Everything else decent is also available and better...

Once you patch it up with the previously mentioned mods, it runs just fine... and I play it with KB/M without any issues at all. I also have the PS3 version, but I prefer to play it on my PC. Besides, it's like $10 right now... can't go wrong for that much.

More than likely this guy has no legal ownership of the songs, R* probably got the license from the record label that does. If that's the case, this guy has no leg to stand on, and is just crying for cash. I'm sure it'll all come out eventually, but this looks like an attention grab.

I'll add to the pile of recommendations for Vampire: Bloodlines, especially if you track down the unofficial patches that have been released for it. It's been under community development post-release for years, and is a pretty unique game. Very replayable too, as your clan and dialogue choices...

Dan Abnett and Graham McNeill are my favorite writers in their lineup... I'd say Ravenor has been my favorite series overall, and is the one I recommend to people wanting to get started with the 40k universe. Gaunt's Ghosts series is also great, as is the Sigmar Legends series. HH is massive...

First time through will be either with a Nord lightly armored warrior/thief type w 2 weapons or a 2-handed sword, or an Imperial sword/shield/magic. Since it's in Skyrim I'll probably start with the Nord.

I think what a lot of people are missing here in explaining the coolness of the HL games is how they affected the FPS genre when compared to what was already out there when they came out. The original Half-Life came out in 1998, when the main other FPS games most of us had played by that point...

Exactly this... characters looking grim and dirty in a western medieval-style fantasy game based around a viking culture is exactly the way it should be. This isn't anime or some JRPG. Also, isn't your character supposed to be a prisoner again or something? Not exactly happy-fun-time.

I think a nice Schiavona [http://www.sword-buyers-guide.com/schiavona.html] would do the trick... or a Scottish basket claymore. Heavier and more versatile than a rapier, with good hand protection. Lacking that, any nice sturdy broadsword would to the job for me.
