8 Strategy Games that Should be Remastered

Total Annihilation Kingdoms needs a sequel more than a remake. Here would be my suggestion: have it based around 10 (yes, 10) factions born from refugees from the war in the original game in some far off land. All of the original units are there in some sort, but now the factions are greatly...

A Plethora of Content Producers Leave Channel Awesome

What i don't seem to understand is there being a lot of talk about patreon being a major factor in letting these people go/them quitting, but it seems really random who they're biased against. One of those who left (I can't rember who, sorry) was talking about how Mike Michaud doesn't like...

Escape to the Movies: Exodus: Gods and Kings - The 11th Plague

I like this joke. I like this joke a lot. Well played, sir. In any case, I'll just re-watch the Prince of Egypt. That was a really good version with some likable characters. For one, Rameses isn't really an asshole outright, he becomes one because of the role he's forced into and, at the...

8 Christmas Songs You're Already Sick Of

I'd never heard of number 5 until today...but not on this list. I heard it in my Students union and god was it annoying. I must say, out of all the list, it's the only one that's annoyed me the first time I heard it. The others mostly just get a "meh" out of me. Like, at first I thought they...

The Big Picture: Cooking Show - A Look at Too Many Cooks

Wow...alot of people really seem to hate Too Many Cooks. In fact, I might be in the minority on this thread by liking it. I did find it more interesting and bizare than funny, though. That said some of the absurdity made me laugh pretty hard. Anyway, I saw a theory in the comments that the...

Jimquisition: It's Not A Video Game!

Ok, I am now divided on this issue. On the one hand, you have Jim's argument, and on the other you have Total Biscuit's argument, that by lumping these things with games, we are actually restricting them, as they are an art form in their own right (he made a video on it explaining his views more...

Five Nights at Freddies, the best designed indie horror game of recent memory?

Ah, ok. What happens if Bonnie/Chica are there but you run out of power?

Five Nights at Freddies, the best designed indie horror game of recent memory?

You're a bit off the mark, actually. The only mascot to kill you from the doors' worth of distance is Foxy. All the others ALWAYS end up right the hell in your face. If you can't stand sudden personal space violations, don't play this. Ah, my mistake. I obviously remembered Jim...

Five Nights at Freddies, the best designed indie horror game of recent memory?

Bonnie and Chica actually don't do anything if they enter the room while you're looking at the doors. They just stand somewhere you can't see until you look at the cameras again, at which point they jump you. You know they're there if one of the doors stops working. Foxy and Freddy...

Five Nights at Freddies, the best designed indie horror game of recent memory?

I think the reason just watching people play it scared me so much is because it preys on a specific fear I have. I am terrified of the idea that one time I will turn round and see something that shouldn't be there. As such jump scares, especially in a creepy and tense environment where the...

Five Nights at Freddies, the best designed indie horror game of recent memory?

To be fair I can't really judge on whether this is a good horror game because I am a wuss. It's obvious that many others are scared by this as well, however. Some people are saying that it seems bad because it isn't scary, but I think horror and comedy are the 2 most subjective forms of media.

Five Nights at Freddies, the best designed indie horror game of recent memory?

You could see it like that. If the premise doesn't seem that scary, I would see it more as a challenge. A tense balancing act.

Five Nights at Freddies, the best designed indie horror game of recent memory?

I think this game could be classed as comedy horror while Amnesia is just horror. Overall, yes, the demon-animatronics look a bit silly, but they also look rather creepy in the right light. The bloke at the start is humourous, but it's dark humour and helps build the atmosphere. The message...
