Writing on the wall - A chance to be a part of Escapist history!

Curses, only just saw this, would have loved to participate. Very well done though, I'm thoroughly impressed :)

U.K. Retailer GAME Loses Mass Effect 3

I feel quite guilty now, as I have managed to grab a ME3 Collectors edition before they are all grabbed up again. So, does this mean I have indirectly stolen a collectors edition copy from someone? That makes me unhappy... but not as much as not having a physical copy of the game :p And I...

    LoadingReadyRun: Give In

Multiple Grahams. Guarantees success of any internet video imo. One of the best videos LRR has done for a while.

Jimquisition: Videogames Are Not Movies, Get Over It

Personally, I found most of it to be bland, and any swearing and personality seemed to detract attention from the actual point of the episode, to the extent where I had to remind myself what exactly he was raging about. However, I don't claim to be a voice for anyone but myself on the...

Miracle of Sound: Age of the Dragon (Dragon Age 2 Song)

Amazing song, my only complaint being during the game footage I kept trying to click and drag the camera, pausing the video. Maybe that's just because I've played the game for too long though....

I need help from someone who doesn't live in america

I would think shaking hands would be pretty universal, as in a formal greeting/goodbye sort of thing. For a thumbs up? cant say I really ever see anyone use that, except when hitch-hiking. Although certainly it has its roots in positive enforcement of efforts etc, i.e. 'good job' (UK btw)

    Microsoft Marketing Fail

Except Microsoft doesn't really make games for the PC, it just ports them. An unfortunate side-effect of one of the worlds most successful computer company also producing an equally successful dedicated gaming system. When looking at it like that, It wouldn't make as much sense to port them the...

    Microsoft Marketing Fail

Well at the end of the day, I'm sure both companies care about you for the same thing, money. It's just one of them has much more than the other, and can afford to loose customers, so don't have to connect as much to their community in order to make enough. Make of this what you will. True...

    Is the PS3 region locked

From what I know, PS3s are region locked, but the games are region free. So you could play games from any country, but not DVDs. I hope I am wrong, for your sake though, as Top Gear is top-notch :D

    The biggest game of 2011?

Probably because a lot of people who has been following the development have noticed a lack of significant content shown, and no commitment on a release date, which make me think we might even have the new Duke Nukem Forever successor for 'that game that will never be finished' joke.

    Microsoft Marketing Fail

Oh, definitely. I was never trying to suggest there is no difference between the two, in fact imo the games are pretty much on the opposite ends of the RPG spectrum. But there are certainly going to be people, such as myself, who would enjoy both games. You seem to be of the opinion that The...

    Microsoft Marketing Fail

I have to agree on some points, if only because I was waiting to buy Fable III for the PC, but at some point I simply stopped caring. Not that I read reviews saying it was bad, or was advised against getting it, I just lost all interest. But I certainly don't agree with the 'marketing fail'...

    The biggest game of 2011?

If it actually comes out (I have my doubts) I would think if expected to take the question as literally as possible, that SW:TOR shall be the biggest game this year. Considering the writers have been working on this game from 2006 onwards, after 5 years of working on it, you would hope it would...

    Poll: Dragon Age 2 Hero?

Double Ninja'd! (stupid internet connection...). Both Hawke's mother and the human mage Warden share the family name Amell. And it is set at the same time, which makes it unlikely without crazy time travel. And apparently Morrigan states the child was male in the Witch Hunt DLC, so the option of...

    Your most dishonorable gaming moment

Me and a friend used to play Gears of War on the same Xbox. We'd both use different Xbox live accounts, so for some reason this meant we couldn't be kicked. We would both choose different teams, then team-kill every person on our team, run back and forth behind their down bodies to make it look...
