    Totally rings a bell but, so sorry I can't name it either. Was it a Japanese title? because that feels right to me. You recaptured pieces of the town down in the dungeons and put the town back together as you pleased.

    I remember a fantastic little game that takes place in some kind of lab or space station where you wake up to discover you've been crafted into a human cyborg, and you make it your mission to escape.
