I would go with another game starting just before the events of Deus Ex with Paul as the Protaganist. They could then incorporate several significant crossover events between Paul and JC but Paul definately has his own story and agenda which leaves plenty of room for fresh content.

Lets us start by ignoring the debate of, are they good or are they bad or who was to blame and so on. If thats what you want then there are other threads out there for that. Instead, my question is "how would you have done those fights?" Some ideas then. The Strength and Wall force ideas...
