Whilst playing Fear, there was a part where a corpse was supposed to fall of a catwalk in front of the camera but for some reason, its leg got stuck in the catwalk and it just hung there, dangling. I think it was scarier than what was really supposed to happen.

I like it. Just make sure to make everything customisable. That's always cool.

In a word, no. I agree with you about frustration and difficulty making you a better player, but the harder a game is, the more likely you are to reach for the cheat book.

Quick time events can be ok in some games especially in situations where actions are to stylised for the user to perform. But the main reason they are used, like all mini games, is to mix up gameplay a bit. Though they're still probably overused.
