Can only second "Hard Reset", a nice and fast oldschool FPS with hordes of enemies, giant enemies and a nice morphing weapon / XP system. Bulletstorm was also fun for a weekend and shouldn't be too expensive anymore.

Hand Zimmer worked on both the Crysis 2 and CoD: Modern Warfare 2 soundtracks. The fact that I can't hum any line of those two probably means that a big name (with undeniable talent) doesn't always work for games.

Mass Effect 3, although I did a replay of The Witcher 2 when the Enhanced Edition patch hit. Saints Row the Third gets honorable mentions because I finally finished it in Coop this year.
