I'd personally go for a long, black trenchcoat, black pants, a grey t-shirt, and plenty of weapons hidden in the coat, for a kind of night assassin look, while still avoiding the emo look, as I'd have a grin and a glint in my eye most of the time.

Meh... I liked Sonic Adventure DX... it was a pretty good game. The chao aspect was OK, but totally extra, so those who disliked it could not deal with it. It had pretty good gameplay, the controls were tight and responsive, and the voice acting, while somewhat annoying, especially by Amy...
