I'm a 42 year old woman and I spent 13 years managing a comic store. 6 before that working for a game, model and rc/model train company. In many ways I guess I've always broken the mold of stereotypical girl. (Got tattoos too, so... yeah.)
I've always played role playing games - tabletop ones...
I love them. Their stories are *very* good, very well thought out and deep (even though some folks don't seem to understand them well enough - I suspect those same folks didn't "get" the ending to the Matrix trilogy either); characters whose depth we're still just scratching the surface on, but...
Gordon Freeman. Or, Barney.
Or, Gman. But only if he tells me his darn name, because calling him "hey you" or "gov'mint dude" all the time would get really old.
I think this is a total no-brainer. I have no idea why there isn't already one out there.
It's got all the hallmarks of existing MMOs:
Crafting - you can become something other than a fighter/trainer.
Hunting - catching and trading your finds.
Market - a rich trade in training...
Sugar Egg. You know those things made out of pure sugar with the frosting animals inside and a peep hole you see a little scene in?
If I can't have that, then a DARK chocolate bunny. I'm allergic to milk, so it's gotta be DARK.
