I don't own a 360, and have never really felt the need to. That said, there are a few games that have caught my eye now and then. I'm very intrigued by Alan Wake, but I can't guarantee it will be a system seller for me. For now, I'm quite content with my PS3.
They mentioned this a few years ago too. I love the series, but I'd be okay with this. I'd be even MORE okay with it if they put all that energy into a new Chrono Trigger.
Hmm. Good question.
I figure it appeals to anyone who has difficulty understanding the difference between:
1 - Unresponsive controls, glitchy gameplay, and terrible level design,
and
2 - Genuine challenges based on innovative level design and unique gameplay elements.
