Really, as long as they are not taking away features from the free users, what's the big deal? It seems like a win-win-- depending how much this service costs. The free PS1 games sounds awesome BTW.

I think the main point in all of this is not the fact that Yahtzee did not like the game. The real problem is that he gripes about invalid things: the dodge system for example works perfectly fine. That, combined with the fact that he did not play through even close to half the game before...

Yhatzee isn't in the job of reviewing games or even playing them, it seems like all he's doing is being negative and playing up for laughs. It seems like the only games that Yahtzee enjoys are semi-casual action-adventure types with solid stories, which is fine and everything ... but just...

That is really what its all about, getting the bills payed. I wonder if Yahtzee gets any joy out of doing these reviews anymore? He seems just as cynical as ever, but he also seems like he's tired; his heart just doesn't seem in it anymore.

Well put,you've more or less negated Yahtzee's review with this post. I would put money on a bet saying that Yahtzee would have given Demon's Soul one of his glowing reviews had be played it prior to doing his weekly ZP reviews. Perhaps Yahtzee should stop doing the weekly videos and just...

I think that ZP?s Demon?s Souls review is fine on its own, the problem is that Yahtzee presents himself as this sort of champion of originality in video-games, then when original games like Demon?s Souls come along, games that do so many things right, he tears them down or gives them the cold...
