Well there is maybe some good news to that on the trello boards https://trello.com/b/K0C0i8wF/neverwinter-nights-enhanced-edition there is talks about making some things soft coded so moders can make the game use other rules, Not just 3.0.

finally a person that understands the difference between claiming to enhance and completely overhauling. Something that people in GOG's forums have not figured out yet. The hate is real there.
