For me, a game that left me in awe would be Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille Zur Macht, my jaw hit the floor at simply the way it ended. As for something else, like tears, Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra. I'm almost certain I was depressed for like three days after beating it.

My non-gaming hobbies include anime, reviewing toys, and collecting gunpla.

For me it's neither, I wait until the game comes out, rent it and then buy at whatever price it's currently at.
