Does anybody own any of these or any other exotics?

I own 2 Female Crested Geckos and a couple of different species of Praying mantis. Getting a californian king snake, a male crestie and a group of Rankins to breed at some point in the near future.

Except for the lizards and toads why would anyone ever want any of those things in their house?
I'd be paranoid that it would get free and take revenge for holding it hostage.

There better not be a spider in there.

A fucking camel spider. God damn, I've never seen a picture of one, and I won't ever willingly.

That's how bad my phobia/the stories I hear are.

My Dad had a pig when he was a kid. I really want one, but he won't let me :(

As for "exotic" pets, I have some tortoises. Do they count?

I have fluffy pets that give cuddles, but I do have to say that that orchid praying mantis is the most beautiful bug I've ever seen.

Still wouldn't want it in my house, but it's lovely to look at.

Who in there right mind would want a Centipede or Tailless Whip Scorpion as a pet?

Now, an Aye-aye, that's what I call a pet.

I would add a caracal to the list.

I would love to own as a pet, provided I could afford to take care of it properly.

A camel spider? CAMEL SPIDER? Why would you own one of those things? Their ugly, aggressive, dangerous, and one of the few insects alive that are actually mean spirited. Thats the dumbest thing I've heard in a while.

I don't live in an place that allows pets I'm afraid, but when I do, the most exotic thing I'll probably get is a hedge hog and iguana (Along with my German Shepard).

Personally, I want a domesticated fox if I went for an unusual pet. They just seem awesome.
But they're hard to get. :(
Fennecs just seem too high-maintenance and energetic for me.

I never really see the appeal of keeping anything venomous for that very reason. Same as I dont see the appeal of any of the bigger constrictor snakes. Why keep something that can kill you? I guess there's probably a thrill from it, but at the end of the day, IT CAN KILL YOU!

If I could have that animal as a pet my life would be complete

I'd either want that or a female platypus, since male platypi are venomous.

If you inject them with iodine they turn into a salamander.

HOW AWESOME IS THAT.
