10 likely ports we will hopefully get for the 3DS
The best thing I liked about the gameboy advance is that it was basicly a
handheld Super Nintendo, it had all the awesome Super Mario games, A link to
the past, Metroid remakes, Final Fantasy and whatnot.
Of course not all ports are cool, I mean you can only release Final Fantasy IV
so many times before people really get sick of it.
A lot are just cheap cash-ins that aren't even that good anyway, but theyre going
to do it anyway, so consider this an open letter to all developers because I think
the following titles are worth a second purchase.
10. Rayman 3
Ubisoft, what is up with you having a gazillion ports of Rayman 2, a trillion
Raving Rabbids games (which I'm pretty sure nobody likes), but not Rayman 3, which
was great.
I mean it was like Rayman 2, only better, can't go wrong there right ?
It made sense to me, release the first Rayman for the gba, the second one for the DS, and
the third one for the 3DS.
Either that or that sweet looking ipad game theyre teasing us with, is that one out yet ?
9. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Were getting Ocarina of time right, we should totally get Majora's Mask too.
I'd totally put down 50 bucks for an upgraded version of MM, maybe some additional
content.
Imagine seeing that moon crash into Clock town in 3D, I'd game over myself just to
see that.
8. Donkey Kong 64
Hell, we got Diddy Kong racing right ?
This game had some of the best boss battles I have ever battled, I'd
pay twice just to battle that jack-in-the-box boss in 3D.
It also had great music.
7. Grand theft auto: Vice city
People say San Andreas is the best one out there, but I never played that
one because I was busy playing Vicy City to death.
It probably will never happen though but I can still dream right ?
They'd probably replace the radio stations with midi sounds though.
6. Final Fantasy X
Square, please stop violating those sprite games and start violating some
of your 3D ones.
The voice acting could use some work, and it probably wasn't for everybody
but I had great fun with it.
Be sure to add a cutscene skipping button this time around though
5. Breath of Fire IV
This game makes a lot of sense to me in 3D, you constantly have to shift
the camera to change your perspective in the somewhat narrow enviroments.
But I think that it would be totally sweet in 3D.
It was also a beast of a JRPG that I think any JRPG fan should play.
4. Mother 3
Seriously just give us this game already, it was going to be 3D at some
point in the past right ? Well patch that up and give it to us, do it today
and I will buy it thrice.
3. F-Zero GX
I've never beaten it and the reason for that is because I smashed my gamecube in
frustration, I think Nintendo could make a fortune in smashed 3DS reparation
costs.
I AM THINKING WITH YOU NINTENDO !
Seriously though the horrible difficulty didn't make it any less awesome.
2. Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil
This is a magical PS2 gem that I think everybody should at least play once.
The first one got a port from the psx to the wii and now the second one
should totally be ported to the 3DS.
1. Chrono Cross
Self explanitory.
Feel free to add suggestions of your own.
