Not sure if this has already been brought up but 15 bucks for 3 new maps and 2 old ones for Modern Warfare 2 seems ridiculous to me, Actvision has completely lost it and is now looking for anyway to screw us gamers to recoup losses from crappy games they weren't able to sell. I for one will be trading Modern Warfare 2 in this week for Bad Company 2 what does everyone else think?

Yes, it has been brought up...today.
OT: Ya. It's redoculous. I will not buy it because honestly, IW doesn't need more money after MW2.

I've read about this and I agree its way too overpriced.

I might get it if they dramatically lower the price.

wow, considering MW2 was only the best selling game ever, could they really have a reason for this price tag, other than pure damn greed?

3 maps for Halo 3 cost 800 points, if I am correct. And they threw in some completely free maps.

Thus, it can be concluded that Activision is a money whore. /thread.

The profit motive?

Activision is experimenting to see how much they can charge for their products before people stop buying them. If you don't want all map packs to cost $15, don't buy it.

There is no law saying that games have to be $50 or map packs need to be $5 (or whatever they usually cost).

I have a strange feeling that it will still sell...
*sigh* This is what happens when natural selection no longer applies to societies. If you'll excuse me, I'll go drink until I forget that I've lost all faith in humanity...
