2008 memories

Ok the year is almost over and im curious what have you done this year that will stick in your memory every time you mention 2008.

and its gotta be nice things im sick of all these grumpy depressing people on here that just wanna moan.

Nothing that really stands out yet, but there was some really good days.. Obama winning was pretty epic, even for a cynic standpoint, so I have to put my money on the change in america

This year I will remember the following awesome things...

- I Spent a month travelling Europe
- I had what I could easily say was the best summer ever
- I went to Vancouver for a 4 day trip with my Girlfriends Family and my best friend (he's dating my Girlfriend's younger sister)
- I joined the Escapist
- I saw America elect Obama
- Did I already mention I went to Europe finally?

Yeah, 2008 was pretty awesome.

I lived in italy for 5 months.
I joined the escapist.
I celebrated 5 years with my man.
I started a festive trend.

I loved, I lost, I had fun, I felt like shit.

But that's just life, we've got to live with it.

This year I finished my school and got a job as an software engineer.

Yes it was a great year overall.

This has been a pretty eventful year for me, actually.

First girlfriend, ended badly but I'm not sad, it was a learning experience and I deserve better anyways (I'm not saying that to be cocky, I've heard it from enough people, including my ex's best friend, to be able to say it myself.)

My sister's first kid was born at 9.4 pounds, and he's very healthy!

Couple days later, my dad had his first heart attack. He's fine, and recovering MUCH better than the doctors expected.

My friends and I are actually going to make a movie, even though we usually say we are and never do. (Seriously! We are this time! I'll post it for everyone to see when we film the first scene.)

And, there's a slight chance that by New Years Eve, I'll have my second girlfriend!

Oh yeah... and I joined the Escapist.

It's been one hell of a year.

Some pretty good things going on this year so i guess i should name mine

me and my girlfriend going away to cornwall earlier this year was great

my sister having her first child n she's doing great

me and my mom going to prague

countless gigs n music festivals but cant be bov to name em lol.

overall a good year

Not much of a year really but there were a few events that stood out from the rest:
-Shot someone(long story,fucking funny as hell)
-Joined the escapist
-Started making videos on youtube(a film commentary group)
-Enjoyed halloween with friends(movie nights kick ass)

As for me:

Quit the BS-MS Joint program at my college cuz I couldn't take the pressure(was set back 6 units because of this).
Discovered the joy that is Kamelot.
Finished most of my major document courses
Down to last one unit before graduation

All school-related.

-The beginning of a beautiful relationship with my new girlfriend

-The fixing of a console I accidentally broke
-Obama being elected
-More time for the escapist
