So analysts promised us an amazing 2010 so I am going to do a sort of monthly check in.
January was not supposed to be all that amazing, which is good, because that way no one's heart was broken. I went in to January thinking "Oh boy! Month one of the super-year 2010 is starting!" and while leaving it, I notice the best parts were hype for the future.
The Game Informer followed in it's noble tradition of making boring months seem awesome simply because the future should be. We got to see into the future of Irrational Games as well as a big long story on Splinter Cell: Conviction which looks pretty sick. Oh right, we also got an 8 page story on Halo: Reach, leave the halo franchise on a high note Bungie! Don't mess it up!
February looks kind of mediocre too. Bioshock 2 but that is pretty much it other than P.B. Winterbottom but I can tell you already is that the high point is going to be the fact that it leads into March, the month of dreams where all the little boys and girls get Game 3, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Halo: Reach betas and more.
I really do think March will be awesome, so don't lose hope yet.

Bayonetta (I haven't gotten my hands of Mass Effect 2 yet)
