Hello friends,

this year was very disappointing but looking at next year from january to december. it looks just so amazing. last time it was 2007 that was looking this good.

heres what coming next year

Resident Evil 2 Remake - many people regard RE2 as best RE game. and this getting remake in over the shoulder perspective is best thing happen to it just like RE7 in FP is best thing happen to series. its coming in January and and it can become best in series.

Metro Exodus - This was my dream game since long time and i cant believe it has been coming in 2 months. im expecting it to be one of the best FPS ever. as they are turning Metro into more of Stalker like experience with deep immersive storytelling.

DOOM Eternal - Sequel to best FPS of this generation. or even best game. what else need to know? looks more badass than Original Reboot with set on earth and how Doom slayer interact with humans too this time.

The Outer worlds - Another amazing game going to released in 2019 and it looks better than fallout or borderlands has ever been. this can be best FPS/RPG hybrid since Deus Ex1/System shock 2. easily one of the most impressive game that just revealed.

RAGE 2 - Well not expecting it to be some kind of masterpiece because not every game has to be but it looks like fun fast paced shooter with car combat that looks very fun.

Dying Light 2 - Hated the original but Dying light 2 was one of the most impressive game revealed this years E3. gone from generic zombie game to deep immerisve story driven first person action game.

Shenmue 3 - One of vaporware that is finally releasing next year and finishing the storyline that was ended in to be continue previously. and probably one of the most wanted games by many since decade. I liked first 2 so looking forward to it.

Mortal Kombat 11 - MK9 was best storyline fighting game ever. instead of selecting characters, it follow the story segments and give you character to play. they innovate fighting game storyline as result street fighter and tekken stole it. further more its one of the oldest franchise and one of the first gory series.

Sekiro Shadows Die Twice - From a developer of dark souls that many people loved. i for one glad that its not RPG rather than action game. being RPG means combat and gameplay scarifies.

Kingdom hearts 3 - I may not care about this game but it has fans and one of the game keep asking by them that is finally coming.

so my friends, there lots coming out next year and it appears that it looks to be one of the most exciting years coming out.

what do you think? lets discuss

I've got my eyes on Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, personally.

Looks like it'll be the Space Sim I've been craving for the past 10 years.

I'm also cautiously optimistic about Doom Eternal and RAGE 2.

Kingdom Hearts lost me after the conclusion of Dream Drop Distance, though. Unless it comes to Switch and gets a decent discount, I have no interest in it. If I do end up playing it, it's purely for the gameplay and not the story. I lost faith in the story after they used random chance to resolve the villain's grand plan last time. -_-

It looks like a promising year. A lot of potential hits on the horizon. But there's not that much to say about it because there are thousands of ways that devs and publishers could still screw things up.

With the way the last 3 months have been going with AAA releases, I think we all need to take a huge, massive, cynical step back and ask ourselves if I was an asshole trying to nickle and dime gamers on every facet of my new title, how would I do so?
We should look at each title as a piece of mico-transaction, anti-consumer cowpat until it can prove otherwise. Hell, I'm looking forward to Ori 2 and I fully expect 1/2 of the skill tree and the 2/3rds of the game to be walled behind a season pass and day 1 DLC.

I mean who here honestly thinks Rage 2 will be anything but an okay functional, bare-bones shooter with a free to play economy and loot boxes, with DLC and weapon skins, but that will cleverly implement such things 4 weeks after launch to avoid the initial reviews?
We all thought 2018 was 'TEH MOST EXCITING YEAR EVAR' in gaming, and we've had what, 2 good games? 3 if we count Smash?

Yeah, I think I recall the OP here making basically this same thread about a year ago, saying that 2018 was going to be the best year for gaming. I even remember him making the same "2007" comparison.

Can' t mention RE2 without mentioning DMCV. It's like Capcom trying to atone for being kinda crap in the past(and present *glares at SFV*).
And then there' Judge Eyes coming out in days. Generally, i think like there's more interesting stuff outside indy niche, this and next year.

That's assuming one isn't already cynical towards the biz. I know i've been for the last years. Taking it a step further would result in full apathy. Which doesn't have to be bad, tbf cause:

Yeah, i don't care about Rage, so for time being might as well pretend it doesn't exist. If it turns out good, good.

Okay... Who? I don't see many hyperenthusiastic people on this forum. In fact, it kinda got its rep for that. One b-cell and his threads about next greatest video game of the century isn't exactly representative.

Those people would be wrong. :p

But yeah, the remake looks awesome.

Much as I disliked Doom 2016, I'm cautiously optimistic for this.

If it's anything like 3D Fallout it's probably not my thing, but meh, looks fun.

Two? Really? I don't know about you guys, but this year has been pretty great. Red Dead Redemption 2, Monster Hunter World, Spider-Man, Pokemon Let's Go, Kirby Star Allies, Dragon Ball FighterZ. Are you sure you don't mean "Groundbreakingly spectacular" and not just good?

Assassn's Creed Odyssey (I guess)
Forza Horizon 4
Hitman 2
Ni no Kuni: Revenant Kingdom
Dragon Quest XI
Mario Tennis Aces
Subnautica
Return of the Obra Dinn
Celeste
Far Cry 5
A Way Out
Detroit Become Human
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Spyro: Reignited Trilogy
Smash Ultimate (If you want to count it)

Oooo, hmm that looks interesting. Thanks for mentioning it! The ships look kinda ugly but the combat looks nice!

No mention of Death Stranding? Reedus thinks it'll be out early 19, but it'll probably be mid/late, I think...

Wow, how did I forget to add God of War? It's the first game I thought of while making my list. Don't know why I didn't add it, but, yeah, that one too.

It's why I've compared B-Cell to a topic generator bot before.

DMC5, the ps4 remakes of Trails of Cold Steel (signaling the imminent release of games 3-4 in the series), Fate Extella/Link and a bunch of other stuff is coming too. Definitely gonna be an excellent year!

Thats why i mentioned that Im not expecting it anything masterpiece or one of the best FPS ever. those 2 reserved for Doom Eternal and Metro Exodus. but a damn fine game.

Outer worlds on other hand looks something really special. with those coming in 2019. it cant be anything but amazing.

2019 will probably end up another typical gaming year for me. A whole lot of crappy and/or scummy games I'll dutifully give a wide berth, the occasional good stuff, and tackling the old backlog for all the gaps in between.

The only one i am actually planning to buy atm is the new Total War game. And maybe Mount and Blade 2 or Cyberpunk 2077 if one of those comes out.

Was more hyped last year and had a good 2018 overall.

Yeah, why not? Me got no stake in this, might as well lean towards the positive in a way that is totally not overcompensation for...stuff. Think positive, damnit...posssssitiiive. Smile, gotta do that. No, that's a grimace, stop grimacing! How hard can it be?? Smile with your eyes! That's...still a grimace! How the hell can eyes grimace?! This is a failure. No, wait...a positive failure. Yes. *Phew* Good years ahead. Nothing. Can. Go. Wrong. As long as I keep grimacing.
