3d printed personal robots?

Thanks to technology, we can now have our own 3d printed robots.

Well at least that's what it sounds like:

The interesting part is how it's made. You upload a file in a special '3d' printer and out comes the robot.

As it stands the quality of 3d printing leaves something to be desired (a noteworthy amount of anything you make will need to be thrown out due to being defective). While we're getting there for 3d printing, we're still very much in the experimental early adopter phase. Give it another 20 years of development.

@Zontar. Thanks for your response. I guess it sounds like it's in it's 'Atari' stages. Well I just hope I'm around to see when it finally starts making quality products, etc. Very Interesting nonetheless :)

Teeth.

This is obviously a rough first stage on printable robots, but I like the idea. It has merit, and I think it'll take five years to make better. Because, weirdly, people tend to accelerate when it's the cool stuff.
