Hey, just wanted to give a warning out to anyone still on the line about buying a 3DS or maybe thinking of waiting until Nintendo releases a new version: in retrospect I wish I had waited.
There are the negative things from reviews but there are also two issues that I have that I hadn't read anywhere. First, the material that the entire top area (on the inside) is made of smudges so easily, it's ridiculous. I'm kind of super picky and neat about screen smudges and its driving me crazy. Second, the top screen area is starting to show scratches from where it overlaps the lower screen when the thing is closed. Maybe I accidentally closed it to hard or something. It's not bad, just three dots right now, but definitely a problem.
So anyways, maybe those things don't bother you like they do me but if you already own a 3DS and haven't gotten a screen protector for it, especially the top screen, I would go ahead and do that. I'm going to get one as soon as I can.
