I just posted it for the sake of interest. And by your logic, the Pyramids, Stonehenge, Babel, Harrapa, The Great wall is also not particularly important to anything.

Yeah, these are massively important. Potentially the oldest major human structure. And considering it pre-dates the first stones of Mesopotamia goes to show how old and how amazing the find is.

Cool. I've seen stuff like this before on a BBC programme about the development of human conciousness or maybe it was art...can't quite remember. Might even have been the same place or possibly an earlier example of something similar done with natural rock formations. Takes a fairly complex and comparatively advanced society to put something like that together.

The Great Wall would be important, even in his reasoning. Since the Great wall served a known purpose by known peoples. The others are objects we don't have nearly as much data on.
