Depends on what you like.

But to be honest, there really isn't much out there right now, IMO.

Honestly, I don't think for a second that I'll know what you like, so I'm going to suggest Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, because it's actually rather fun, though you might find it a bore, but what I really think you should do, is go in, look at what they have on the shelves, and buy something that catches your eye.

$70. $70 is all I have to spend on these games.
It's a... very vague Resident Evil 5... joke... yeah, I'll shut up now.

I'd recommend Assassin's Creed 1, 2 and/or Brotherhood. I'd say 2's the best, but good luck keeping up with the story without playing the first.
Probably help if I wasn't so sleep deprived, but the only other game I can think of is the Guild Wars Complete Collection since I'm getting that and, from what I've seen my friend play of it, looks pretty good.

Also, Resident Evil 5. It's not the best game out there, but I used it for the joke so feel obliged to recommend it.

I would say get the Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition (I am going to purchase it very soon as well) You get the entire game plus the expansion pack and all the DLC which would run you around $100 if you bought all these items separately. The Ultimate Edition should run you around $60 making it one of the best deals in gaming.

Seriously, I'd bet there are more than a few old titles laying around your local gamestop that you'd like... assuming you have older consoles to play 'em on (and you don't mind that the developer doesn't get any of the money you spend... but hey, it's gamestop. That's just par for the course).

it would help out if you gave us more info, like tell use what consoles you have and what your game preferences are.

If it's for PC, trade your store credit to someone else for some money ... and spend it on the steam store.
The holiday sale is crazy good, I doubt anything at game stop can match it.

For $70 you could get a fair amount of older games. They depreciate pretty fast, and I've found lots of games I wanted before, but didn't have the money at the time in the used bin. A lot of the time you'll be suprised at what you can find for cheap.

Edit: Also, this was my first post since new forum regulations. Anyone else find it odd that they actually make you type "I AGREE?"
