A car for a 360 Slim: My transaction is complete

This morning around 7:30a my Sister woke up and I was able to drive my 2002 Ford Focus over to her house and drop off the keys to exchange for the Xbox Slim.

After I got home and plugged it in I was truly impressed by both the new build quality and even the controller it comes with.

What is everyone's experience so far with the Xbox Slim? I will post a longer description of mine in my upcoming break.

Well I saw your earlier thread and to be truly honest I thought it was a joke ... a car is a car, can travel a long way in a car ... you won't get far in a new 360.

No its an offical trade meaning its theirs. I have another car, a 2009 Pontiac Vibe so I am not without a car. I am just without a crappy Ford, lol.

Well saying a car can transport you a long way would depend on the car. In this cars case it transported me the 8 miles to my Sister's house but I defiently would not travel much further than that. Also my 360 can travel to Mars when I play Red Faction, my car couldn't do that, lol.

I read your thread earlier, I can't believe you actually passed on hundreds or even thousands of dollars just to please your brother in law. Just....why?! That's a fuckton of cash! Don't tell me your b.i.l is that expensive to please.

In any case, I didn't know they even rebuild the controller. What's different about it? I bet it has the same layout and all, but are there slight changes or anything?

Quick review of the system:
I love the wifi, and the reduced power brick size. The black controller it comes with is also sexy, except for the cromed center button. I love the new sound it makes when powering it up and the fact its whisper quite. One last thing I love the large 250 gb hard drive.

So its a noticable upgrade from my older 60 gb system.

I passed on the "thousands" of dollars I could get from the car because it was a pile of junk. He has the car knowledge and the money to dump into it, I simply didn't care. He is also a great handyman and since I just bought a house its nice to have one happy with you in case I need help with repairs.

The center button is super shiny for some reason, and the left and right trigger don't feel quite so tough to click. Overall very similar.

It's like when I got my new car and I just GAVE my brother my old Blazer because it was paid off and in good shape and he needed a car to get to work. Giving to family is never stupid, your sister is lucky to know someone as cool as you.

All praise MICROSOFT! Sorry I can't help gushing about the superior console maker. Maybe if Sony or Nintendo did something that was worthy of my praise I would switch my focus but they haven't and probably won't.

And now, everything goes to shit.
