Intel® Core? i5-3570 3.40 GHz 6MB Intel Smart Cache LGA1155
1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD
8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory (Kingston HyperX
[CrossFireX] GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3H Intel B75 Chipset DDR3 mATX Mainboard w/ 7.1 HD Audio, HDMI, GbLAN, USB 3.0, SATA-III, 2x Gen2 PCIe x16 & PCI [-20]
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 2GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card [+278] (EVGA Superclocked)
Asetek 510LC Liquid Cooling System 120MM Radiator & Fan
600 Watts - Corsair CMPSU-600CXV2 Builder Series CX600 V2 80
Windows 8

Since the holiday sell is going on, this build is only $1014.00
But i have a few questions
I do not plan on upgrading or SLCing or overclocking.
Would any of the parts bottleneck my rig? judging by the specs i listed above?

Should i keep on waiting? I know the 700 nividia series are coming out next year so the gtx 670 is gonna get cheaper soon but how long would i have to wait before this same build becomes even cheaper than the $1014.00 holiday special price listed above? The holiday special is only gonna last 2 more days so i wanna decide before its over.

Since i do not plan on OCing, there should be no improvement between a i5 3570 and a i5 3570k right?

Could this build run BF3, Crysis 3, GTA 5 and Far Cry 3 on max settings on a 1680x1024 resolution with good fps? if not than how bout a 1280x1024 resolution?

Thanks in advance.

Main parts are okay, just make sure that the motherboard's 64-bit. Also, you need a better PSU. I'm no smart guy when it comes to PSUs, but the one you picked is not enough in terms of wattage.

That's all I see. It's very close to the build I decided on for Christmas. :)

Hope you have fun and Merry Christmas!

THe build is good. It could run those games you listed a max settings at 1920x1080.

A 600 watt PSU should be fine with just the single 670.

A 600 watt PSU is fine with how efficient modern components are. One thing you should be aware of though is that motherboard is awfully low end. It probably won't support dual graphics cards, or advanced features like smart cache, lucid virtu etc.

If those features aren't important to you then it'll be fine. To be honest they're not massively important anyway. The only thing I'd be concerned about is the lack of overclocking. Are you sure you'll never want to do that? Its not difficult and it's essentially free performance. You also might want to budget in an aftermarket cooler, you can get a good one for £30 easily and the standard Intel one is awful and noisy, trust me on that one, I stuck with the standard one and really regret it.

Also, find the money for an ssd. A 128Gb Crucial m4 or Samsung 840 will make a world of difference. You can fit the os and a good few games on it.
