Hello Everyone. As you can see by looking to the left of your screen this is my first post on Escapist ever. I've been reading for over 5 months and I've been watching Yahtzee for probably close to two years. (Why is Yahtzee considered a misspelling :( SO SAD)

I am looking for an RPG to play on my laptop while I am abroad. I have no issues downloading the game from something like Steam, but I can't stay connected to the internet while I play (an issue I can get around by doing offline mode with Steam). I use systemlab to figure out of my laptop can run games, but I tried this with ME2 and that failed with choppy game play that made it unbearable. I was thinking of Dragon Age: Origins (the first one), but I wanted to make sure I could run it or if you great members of the community had some better suggestions!

Specs:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7500 @ 2.20GHz
RAM: 2 GB
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Video Card: Quadro NVS 135M
Features: Minimum attributes of your Video Card
Required You Have
Video RAM 882.5 MB
Hardware T&L Yes
Pixel Shader version 4.0
Vertex Shader version 4.0

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated! I am not a picky on age, I just want smooth game play and something to entertain me for a while.

Thanks,
Naetun

Mkay, well, I'll just go ahead and recommend a few games, that might not specifically be RPG's.

Minecraft
Civilisation 4
...maybe try some Gameboy emulators for the pokemon games?!
Dawn of War- Dark Crusade

...hmm. I'll be back probably, my mind is blank right now. But those are some games that have kept me busy while abroad ^______^.

Ps. happy first post, woowowowoowoo!

I'd go to gog.com for some games. Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2, Icewind Dale, Icewind Dale 2, Planescape:Torment, Fallout, Fallout 2, and more.
