Video games are great. They allow us the ultimate form of escapism, in world lush with outlandish physical features and creatures to stretch the corners of the mind. It's these creatures I'd like to focus on here.

No doubt, through your many gaming exploits, you've certainly bashed your fair share of baddies that would make any real-world, big-game hunter second guess his career choice. My question is this;

What video game creature, that you've vanquished, would you like to have stuffed and mounted on your mantle here in r/l? Why? Was it really tough? Super cool looking? A lucky kill that never should have happened?

I think I'd have something like this,

Just the head, of course, as I don't think the rest of it would fit in my den.

Now you. ^_^

You know at the end of GOW in the throne room you have Ares and that thing from Hades? Yeah that'd be me.

I disagree! The best way of Escapism is listening to Noah Antwiler babble about how TNA Inpact sucks for almost 2 hours!

OT: All the Colossi from Shadow of the Colossus.

People would see my house from miles away!

Although it's a shame that the roof would collapse... and the floor... and the mantle...

A Xenomorph head on a plaque, I guess.
Though getting it on there without dissolving the wall might be a little difficult...
According to AVP, it's perfectly safe to shove your hand in there though.

I'd have a Deathclaw head above my mantle. Or maybe just start a line, adding a head every time I killed another one.

Killing enemies is for weaklings.

Enslaving them as your personal butler, now that's a real man's way.

Trying to apply continuity to the logic of AVP is a fool's errand. Seeing as how the gestation of a xeno can take anywhere from hours (the first Alien) to minutes (AVP).

You can't tell, but I'm sighing really heavily right now.

I'd like to have the giant slaughterfish from Oblivion (found deep in a flooded cave) stapled along a wall in my house. I'd do so partially because of it's size as compared to those of regular slaughterfish, partially because I beat it to death barehanded.
The elderscrolls series had quite a few memorable monsters.

And I love the attempted fan-service

"Hmm, everyone thought the Android Bishop was awesome in Aliens, and it was hinted that Bishop was a real person in Alien 3. How about we include him in a film that takes place several hundred years before the events of Aliens and Alien 3!?

And he's called Weyland, as in the company.

And the idiots that did AvP requiem, good grief, handing Ms Yutani a plasma caster.... oh for the love of all that continuity, I cried at that scene.

edit: on Topic, for obvious reasons Shannon from God Hand.

I would have a burrick's head stuffed and placed above the mantle. With a pair of goombas. As well as a Hunter's shield (from Halo) mounted on the wall as well.
