We've lost Stolen Pixels and Name Game. No disrespect to Critical Miss but I do miss having two webcomics running on the Escapist.

If we did see a new webcomic about gaming on here, what would you like to see it be about?

I'm just musing here.

Oh man, when I saw the thread title, I was getting ready to flag for advertising, good thing I read through this.

Yeah, I can definitely relate. If they did do it, I'd like it to happen on Tuesday due to that day being lacking in video content.

Maybe as a video game programmer? Who falls into the world's he/she creates? I dunno, I'm kinda grasping for straws here[footnote]Note if anybody wants this idea, you can have it for 1 billion dollars. Otherwise my army of Tyrannosaurus lawyer's will eat you alive[/footnote]

Damnit Redlin, I thought we were getting a new one or something!

But I'd like something like Awkward Zombie [http://awkwardzombie.com/index.php?page=0&comic=092006] or Rare Candy Treatment [http://www.rarecandytreatment.com/comics/950442/the-breeders-dilemma/] here, but I just say that because they are my two favourite webcomics outside of Critical Miss.

I think they're trying something new with that "Have Minions, Will Travel" [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/comics/critical-miss/9924-Wages-of-Sin] thing but I would also love to get a few more web-comics.

If I had any writing talent at all, I would volunteer but alas, I do not. I was an art major though so I can do graphic design stuff! Although I'm not very good at it so that might not work either...

Fun Fact: I originally tried out for the Webcomic Contest. It sucked, as it was basically just a repaint of "Unforgotten Realms" (It wasn't a blatant Ripoff, but it was basically the same), but I tried, and it was on the 3rd page.

What I wanna see is a Webcomic that focuses more on a Video Game Universe. The only Webcomics here have been about Gamers or people who work in the Video Game Business. We need something more along the lines of the Mario Comic Book, where it focused on events within the game.

Freakazoid?

OT: I haven't a clue. I don't really read web comics (or comics in general) very often. Something insane and over the top preferably. I've gotten mildly sick of subtle humor lately.

Something like this [http://www.wobblymodelsyndrome.com/] would be awesome. Simplistic, yet smart, webcomics about wargaming. It counts as gaming right?

A simple comic. Just give me a joke. It doesn't have to have great drawings or anything, just deliver on the jokes.

Never saw the show growing up, but reading up on that on Wikipedia.....damnit, looks like my army will have to wait to feed

But yes, I would love an over the top comic. It seems that for a lot of people, dry subtle humor is the only way to go, we've become too smart for our own good. That's why Cyanide and Happiness is one of my favorites, they're not afraid to bust out a Nazi parrot joke every now and again

Why not do another Escapist Webcomic Contest?

That or get Manly Guys Doing Manly Things.

I never knew how hard it was for guys like Kratos to reintegrate back into society intil that comic.

This. It can have a great art-style, or a setting that revolves around video games or someone dealing with video games. But as long as the jokes and punch lines are terrible or non existing, it's not gonna work. Not gonna name examples, but we've all seen some web comics that seemed like a good idea initially, but fell flat on the joke execution.

Id like it to come out on a Saturday or a sunday. Because here in Australia on my Monday (your Sunday) There is nothing new even if it is a timed update so they don't have to pay someone to work weekends (i don't know IT but it shouldn't sound that hard), that would be great.
