I was at a friends party, enjoying the evening and drinking a fair bit, when some pikeys turned up univited. At first, they seemed like nice people but after an hour or so they started shouting at my mate, who for this story will be called Joe. In a (eventually vain) effort to diffuse the situation I took Joe outside the room but the pikeys followed. The person's whos house it was' mum then told Joe that he should leave (unfairly, as he didn't provoke it) and so he departed, understandably a bit upset. I went with him to try and calm him down, but the pikeys followed.
Another of my mates followed just ahead of the pikeys in an effort to stop them, but to quote unknown: "get out of the way or we'll fucking kill you".
So it ended up as me and my mate (who wasn't going to fight due to being drunk etc.) vs six pikeys. They repeated the statement to me when I stood in their way, but I didn't let them past because they probably wouldn't offer my friend such a choice.
So I now have a broken nose and a minor head injury (concussion at the time + throwing up because of it), but I gave one of them a massive black eye, threw one of them into a hedge and split someones lip rather badly.
