So my character is a nightingale and a werewolf at the same time. This means that his soul belongs to two different Daedra at the same time. Anyone want to speculate as to what would happen if something terrible were to happen upon him?

I didn't know werewolf's belongs to any Daedra, then again, I haven't done much of the Companion questline.

I don't think anything will happen. Nightingale's are apart of the Thieves guild and werewolves apart of the Companion's. I'm pretty sure every player who plays the game will be both.

hmmm true. I think this would go well on some RTS game as a custom map "War Of the Daedra".

A great battle will ensure...
And no living mortal will ever see it :(

Would the soul in question get to choose?

A better question would be a werewolf, nightingale, or Dark Brother.

What happens when Sithis, Nocturnal, and Hircine go at it over a soul?
Sithis isn't a deity or a force that affects souls, so nothing on that end.

You die as a werewolf, you reside for all eternity in Hircine's Hunting Grounds.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeell, have you completed the Companion quest line?

You can sell your soul to everything on the other side of oblivion and THEN some.

And that's not even counting all those dragon souls you absorb.

I think an expansion will expand upon the hereafter, because there seems to be way more talk about that in skyrim than any other Elder Scroll.

I'm pretty sure it's something of a damning inevitability that you go to Hircine's hunting grounds when you die as a werewolf, and I'm not entirely sure on the Nightingale/Nocturnal front. (Haven't yet completed the Thieves Guild due to a bug stopping me from completing it on my main character) But if that's more of a reward in that you're not being hunted by a Daedric Prince for eternity then I think it'd be Hircine that you'd go to.

Hircine possibly. I imagine however it'd default to whoever you gave your soul to last though, otherwise people in TES could never reform their choices. Pretty sure for example that Martin in Oblivion mentioned he used to dabble with Daedric worship but then reformed?

So a battle between Hircine, Nocturne, Sithis, Akatosh(Im assuming since im Dragonborn, he'll want me back), and the other like 10 Daedric princes ive essentially pledged my soul to?

Maybe they'll just cut my soul neatly into 17 parts

I think thats because he turned to worshipping the nine divines, also he was a Dragonborn..

Wait a minute Dragonborn are Aedric souls in a mortal body, I dont think its possible for them to go anywhere except back to Akatosh.

That settles it, the Daedra want mortal souls, the Dragonborn has an immortal soul, I have no idea whether a Daedra would be able to claim that

Guys, I've got this. Give me liek, 12 hours, I'm consulting a guy I know who is like, a library of elder scrolls lore.

That won't get us anywhere. It's like playing rock-paper-nuclear bomb.

They'll just keep playing giant for all eternity, and no one would win.

I'm pretty sure you can rescind your soul pledge to any Daedra because...

...during the Mace of Malag Bol quest, you torture a guy until he gives up his allegiance to his Daedra and pledges to Malag.
Also, you can cure yourself of the werewolf curse freeing your soul to go to Sovngarde or whatever other Daedra you chose to.
