Ok so I'm going to go do some serious shopping next week and i really want to know the difference between these two items

http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-one/accessories/ear-force-xo-four/110308

And this

http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-one/accessories/ear-force-xo-seven/110310

they're two new gaming headsets for the X1 and i was hoping you guys knew what the differences are so i can buy the right set, thanks!

and as for some discussion value, what games are you guys looking forward to the most? (any platform)

I myself can't wait for Dead rising 3, ryse son of rome and Outlast!

EDIT: wasn't claiming to buy em fellas just preordering them.

From what I can tell, you can remove the microphone for use as a standalone accessory on the 7. Not that I'd know. As far as I'm concerned, the real difference is that one is $60 more expensive. You'll have trouble getting either next week though.

Oh and get a PS4/PC instead lol.

The product details revealed these amazing features, which the XO seven has over the XO four:

Customize your XO SEVEN with interchangeable speaker plates.

Memory foam cushions create a noise-isolating barrier to outside distractions.
Oh, and the "be social" slogan is listed twice on the XO seven, so I guess you can be twice as social as with the XO seven :p

Both of those headsets have weak joints. I would instead recommend just about any other headset.

Nah man Xbox one will be better their actually listening to the community.
Na ah the Ouya has already won next generation PS4,Xbox One and PC are pretty much obsolete the Wii U may be able to contend a little if they bring in a virtual boy display and power glove accessory.

OT: I dont know the difference OP but if you cant tell the difference I would just go for the cheaper one. Really though thats a lot for a pair of headphones if I was spending that much I would want them to work on all my machines. From my experience though once you get past a certain point its diminishing returns really odds are both of these sound very similar but thats speculation but since they are not out yet I guess everyone is speculating.

That's the best idea any one has ever came up with for video gaming on Nintendo. How were at it why don't we release a Mario game for 428293856th time. Go save the princess fun time. Mario could have 1 new move that lets him stick a gun in his mouth and pull the trigger so that Nintendo can actually come up with some new ideas? Am I on to something!?!?!

I have no idea about which head set you might like.

But it's nice to see someone else excited about Dead Rising 3 instead of just throwing out knee-jerk hostility toward Microsoft.

So yeah, Dead Rising 3 looks interesting and I'm eager to play it. :)

I bet the X1 version of them will be out not long after launch. Then you can buy last years product range of PC headphones for a cheaper price and know from product reviews about any faults.

Or you can just buy an 360 to X1 adapator which MS promised to make.
