So recently I realized that I have owned nearly every console Sony has put out
I had the Playstation 1,2, and 3
and the PSP Regular and PSP Slim and also with Nintendo Products
SNES, Gamecube, Wii, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, and DS
I didn't even realize till now how much I had and I just wanted to know if anyone else is like this like with Xbox (the smallest collection)
to the Nintendo products (the biggest collection)

Seriously though, I have had EVERY psp... I don't even know how that's possible but I have... I have also had 3 ps2's and 2 ps1's...

And now I am a pc guy, so go figure :p

Nothing wrong with being a fanboy. Its funny because, its an insultment on these forums.

I've owned both Xboxes, and several Nintendos, a Commodore 64, and never had a Sony.

I don't consider myself a fanboy because I try and see the plusses and minuses of each console, and judge it by it's own merits.

Why I never had a playstation? The controllers have always made my hands hurt because I have very large hands, and it's difficult to scrunch them down that much for that long... I loved the Duke.. that's how big of hands.

Maybe a bit embarrassing to be a fanboy, because you do have a somewhat unnatural obsession... but nothing technically wrong with really enjoying something.

Only a problem if you get into endless fanboy pissing contests. Love the 360 or PS3, more power to you. Constantly inventing reasons why you're better than your opposite number, you're a bore.

Oh there's definitely something wrong with being a fanboy. Spouting hate about other consoles and the people who use them just because you don't? Hell, I saw some really stupid Sony fanboys saying that they hope Xbox Live gets hacked too so all the Xbox Live users can feel what it's like. Well that's dumb on two levels: One, that's just a shitty thing to wish on anyone, and two, some of us aren't fanboys and actually have accounts on both platforms, and we don't need a double dose of "oh shit some fuckface might steal my identity and fuck up my credit" thank you very much. And of course, there are equally stupid 360 fanboys out there saying things like "I hope those PS3 users choke on their trophies" and other nonsense.

Do you really think that there's nothing wrong with such stupid statements being made just because one person likes Playstation and another likes Xbox?

So, clearly not a fanboy. A fanboy sticks to one brand and flames the hell out of anyone else who didn't pick that brand, no matter how stupid they sound. You are just a normal, sane fan of both Sony and Nintendo.

I've got pretty large hands, and never had too much of a problem with the playstation controllers. Actually I prefer them. Then again I grew up with the master system controller, so anything is a plus I guess.

OT: I was a sega hardware fanboy. Had all of their consoles and was one of the few on the sonic side in the playground. Once sega bowed out, picked up a psx and never looked back. Sony all the way for me. Dont feel the urge to rub it in everyones face though.

I don't think being a fanboy is as bad as many people make it out to be. As long as you don't constantly insult everything that you don't own or play, I don't really see the problem.

That's the Dark Side of Fanboyism.

If you dress up as a Stormtrooper to go see a Star Wars movie, you're a fanboy. If you dress up as Mario every Halloween, you're a fanboy. If you own every Doctor Who novel ever published, you are a fanboy. Fanboys tend to be positive about the things they love and don't need an evil opposite to justify their existence.

But far too many can't help but throw stones at their imagined rivals... and that shit is just stupid.

Fanboys cut both ways.

They love their brand. Love is good.

They can somethings hate other brands. Hate is not so good.

If you're a fanboy that can control the hate, more power to you!
