A Roleplaying problem in World of Warcraft

Well, hello escapisties! (It is now a word)

Recently I was playing on a roleplaying server on WoW, and my character is a Dragon of the Blue Dragonflight, locked in his human form.

Now my problem is, I got shouted at by a random guy in the city for Rp'ing as a Dragon, he literally said: "OMG RPing as dragon you are so dumb dragons are OP go play my little pony 5 year old"

Now apart from the poo, Is RP'ing as a dragon overpowered? I didn't think so, but you never know.

And by the way, feel free to list any awesome facts for roleplaying as a dragon in WoW, extra knowledge is always great!

Wow, I haven't played that game in years. I don't really miss it. >.<

But let me get this straight. Role playing aspect outside of the core mechanics is...overpowered? Maybe I don't know that much about RP servers in WoW but that just seems kinda silly.

As for RPing ideas, I guess the only thing that comes to the top of my head is how your character reacted to the death of Malygos. That was a pretty big deal to all the dragonflights (back in Wrath anyways) and would probably be interesting to explore from the perspective of of blue.

But for more current events, I'm no help. Sorry.

Gotta think about that. And thanks, I guess the guy was really either bat**** ret*****, or a twelve year old.

Here's the problem mate, the RP community (in WoW, likely in other games where applicable) considers playing a dragon so Mary Sue and so overplayed that anyone who uses that is considered lacking imagination. Whether your character is OP (breathing dragons fire even though he is a warrior, having super human strength as a mage, etc) is baseless if he had no interaction with your character.

Point is, the guy called you out because dragons (half-dragons, dragons in human form, etc) are done so much they are often considered a sign of a poor RP'er. Just my two cents on the matter.
