Do you think that Nick, the editors and famous contributors like Yahtzee read these threads, see all the weird stuff we say and judge us?
Outside a handful of users, I doubt anyone knows.but I'd actually be surprised if he knows there still is a forum.
I'm fairly certain that he has read the disqus comments on at least one of his ZP videos, since he mentioned something brought up there in the post review stream. Specifically, my comment on this video.I'm pretty sure Yahtzee said at one point in V1 he doesn't even read the comments on his own videos, let alone any other threads. I can believe that, as in contrast to many other contributors he never answered questions or commented in his threads.
Every now and then he mentions in post-ZP streams reading the Disqus comments on ZP, just to get a feel for the reactions to the video.I'm pretty sure Yahtzee said at one point in V1 he doesn't even read the comments on his own videos, let alone any other threads. I can believe that, as in contrast to many other contributors he never answered questions or commented in his threads.
I'm still not convinced there is.Outside a handful of users, I doubt anyone knows.
He said that, but he's a dirty liar because he referenced the people saying "first!" and immediately getting banned. Also he's occasionally made references to comments in some other series he's made as stated above. And there was that time he changed one of his jokes in a ZP because of an outcry in the comments, leading to another outcry in the comments.I'm pretty sure Yahtzee said at one point in V1 he doesn't even read the comments on his own videos, let alone any other threads. Just wait until they read the series of posts I've been working on about my model train set. It'll knock their socks off!Back in the day Jim Sterling used to patrol the forums. It was rare, but not unheard of for them to respond to us.
If anyone in management does read these threads, they're probably really bored. We're a boring group of people. We talk standard politics and movies and games. We ain't exactly an algonquin round table of controversial opinions.
You joke, but I love assembling 40k and Gundam models, and I know Jim has been 40k-curious for ages. I'd actually enjoy hearing about a model train project!Just wait until they read the series of posts I've been working on about my model train set. It'll knock their socks off!
If you do an Ork train, I want to see everything! That sounds amazing. Are you thinking of it being a tabletop model, or part of a display board, or a kill team board or actually part of the terrain itself?Actually, been thinking about making a scratch built 40k model train out of bits and pieces. The 40kness is important, because I can say it's orky and supposed to be wonky.
You're just proving your own point here :PYou joke, but I love assembling 40k and Gundam models, and I know Jim has been 40k-curious for ages. I'd actually enjoy hearing about a model train project!
On a balsa wood base, been making a few things that way. Vehicles with wheels made of bottle lids and frames of balsa and paddlepop sticks. Thinking of making a few sections it could run on, but probably couldn't make any curving bits.If you do an Ork train, I want to see everything! That sounds amazing.
