Hey escapist.
Actually, i didn't know where else to turn. See, I live in Denmark. We're a few months (I think) behind on everything comic wise (also on other stuff, like great shows on television and such, but i digress)
I seek a way to catch up on the comic works of DC and marvel. I don't want to buy all the comics, in paper, from when they started selling them (I'm not a millionaire dammit!) But I would very much like dive deeper into the worlds, of these comics. Is there any way for me to read all, (I know there isn't, but here's to hoping) or at the very least, a large part, of the important comics, so I get the whole experience as a comic nerd, without having to feel ashamed, that i didn't have the opportunity to collect comics 20 years before I was born?
P.S. I don't know if I should be ashamed of any "bad grammar in this post, but I will apologise if any grammar Nazis find it troubling, that I don't speak their native language as well as themselves. I'll challenge them to a contest on Danish grammar, to make up for it.

If you don't mind black and white for your comics Marvel has a line called ESSENTIALS that reprints pretty much everything and can be had fairly cheap (about $16 for 24 comics reprinted). DC also has a similar line.

If they aren't available near you LMK and I (your freindly neighborhood comic book store owner...in California) would be happy to help hook you up :)
