So I'm about to lose my job for some reasons that I feel are out of my control.

I'm not as good as employees that have been working here for 8+ years. I work in a warehouse and am given jobs that require me to lift 100+ pound items such as patio furniture, grills and toilets. These employees who have been here for years can do it with ease and within 2 hours. If I don't do the same thing within that time I get yelled at. I'm in constant pain from this heavy lifting. I can't see a doctor as I have no insurance and can't get any from my work. No one else will hire me. I just don't know what to do.

Raiku, I hope things are better for you now. I hate to hear of anyone having hard times - I don't think there's any advice any of us could have given except for to never stop trying to find a way forward. I've been thinking about posting some of my issues here too, just to get some encouragement in hard times and hear from fellow Escapists - but the site has changed so much over the years, and no one really likes to listen to just complaints, right? I hope you're doing well and things have been getting better for you.

Where are you from? In the USA we have the ADA: Americans with Disabilities Act that protects people with disabilities as long as you can do a job without becoming an undue burden on a larger [over 50] organization

There are likely plenty of things they could have you do that would not hurt your back.

Fingers crossed for you.
