Accidental click

So I was browsing the forums and accidentally clicked report when I didn't mean to. Is there some way to retract this or speak to a moderator?

Nah... don't worry about it.

Mods read reported posts fully (after it's been reported a few times), so if it's innocuous, they'll just ignore the fact that it was reported... and sigh in disappointment that they have to put their banhammer away... =P

There's no penalties for improper use of the report button? I would have just sent a message to the mods saying it was unintentional. Or replied to them if they give you a warning.

I'm not thoroughly familiar with the policy here but normally you'll only get a penalty of some sort if you consistently abuse the feature.
