Have you ever stumbled upon something whether it be a dusty game/book/movie in a shop or a friends or relatives house and thought to yourself "This is amasing".

A few examples i can think of is one day when i visited my Grans house, she showed me my uncles old PS1 game and i discovered FF7. I also discovered a lot of TV shows by accident such as Cardcaptors and Coupling.

Stumbling into an old comic shop is how I first got into D&D. The shop owner's son was my first DM and he showed me the ropes.

My discovery of People in Planes was quite accidental. I heard one of their songs in House and I decided to give it a try. I loved it to so much that I downloaded their discography. I had no intention of finding one of my favorite bands.

Well On the lines of finding things on the TV, I was surprised to find out that the Travel channel has a lot of surprisingly good shows

Dunno if it counts considering they are on my iTunes, but I uploaded a lot of my parents and friends CDs on my iTunes when I first got it, and when I put my library on random, occasionally I get real gem from one of those CDs, its quite nice Not the word I would like to use, but I can't think of any to express my feelings).

There is a story about when I was 13 but I won't get into that. I found my gameboy color with pokemon red still in it a few days ago.

i didn't even think of mentioning comic book stores... i stumbled into one myself about 7 years ago and found piles upon piles of old comics like witchblade, tomb raider, shadowman. they were 5 for £1 and flicking though them i couldn't understand why they were not selling, needless to say i scooped up as many of them as i could and shoved money on the counter for them.

"Firefly". I was walking through Wal-Mart of all places at 1 in the morning with a friend of mine. I was buying a pair of shorts and some other crap, when we walked by the bargain bin of movies for less than 5 bucks. If you've ever been in a Wal-Mart, you know what giant bins of fourth-rate crap movies I mean. I thought to myself that I was planning on watching a movie I've seen before when I get home, let's see what joke movie I can laugh at. I saw "Serenity", and realized, hey, I remember seeing the trailer and thinking, "God, that looks epic." So for 3 dollars, I picked it up, got home, popped the DVD in, sat back, and thought, "HOLY. HELL." I was like a damn heroin addict. As soon as the movie ended I went online to order it, realized it wasn't going to come fast enough, so I got up early the next day and went and bought "Firefly" on DVD. That was a couple years ago, and I'm still hooked by the damn show.

YES!!!, I heard "Vampire" in a Jumping Jimmy's gas station and the love affair was born. Funny note, "Vampire" was followed up with "I Want To Be Your Dog" by Iggy Pop.

FUCKING SHADOWMAN!

Damn, I loved that series (well, at least the second series which saw stories written by Ennis, Delano and others ). Glad to see I wasn't the only one.
