Now I don't know about you guys but I just love to hear that cute little noise telling me I've unlocked an achievement, I'm a pretty new escapist member so I don't know anyone very well but tell me...

Catching a Batarang was a nice little surprise achievement.

Though I doubt anything wil ever top the sheer joy and relief of this:

Not really from myself but my daughter is 4 and she's a little Simpsons addict so we thought we'd let her have a go on the Simpsons game.
I'm doing some work on my laptop and hear the "Blip" look up and see she's got the achievement for dying like 10 times or something. That made my day ^^

Dear god yes! Took me all afternoon to unlock that. I was proud of myself after that.

I also pitch in the 'One Free Bullet' Achievement. Another one I was proud to unlock.

Was that for One Shot One Kill? That was tough as nails too. I went back and played it on Normal a few weeks ago, it's even a ***** on that mode.

No, that was 'Half Life 2 Episode 1' I used my bullet to blow open a door.

Ah yes... now that is one achievement I am not even going to try to get, the pain would be too much.

Without trying to sound arrogant, I thought it was pretty easy in my experience.

Perhaps... but I would just find HL too boring without shooting anything.

The final flag achievement I unlocked in Assassin's Creed to get the 100%

Although, this one is one of the three Bioshock ones I haven't got

100g - Brass Balls

Anyone got this one?

The most entertaining was L4Ds Cr0wnd (kill a witch with a single shot) as i had no idea there was a witch and was running through the level on vs with my mate just to quickly beat the other teams score. Whilst running i was gunning like a maniac and i assume i must have shot a witch somehow . what makes it more entertaining for me is the back i tried to get the achievement early by sneaking up and failed repeatedly. Running like a maniac ftw.

I love that sound and acknowledgment that you get when you unlock an achievement.

Best achievement that I have gotten would have to be Seriously 2.0 or Seriously in Gow2 & Gow
