So this thread is about games that you personally are terrible at . Admiting that you are bad at something is a hard thing to do , so man up and tell the world what games you suck at .

This thread was inspired by Ultimate marvel versus capcom 3, a game that i was forced into by a friend ( with amazing persuasion skills ). I knew beforehand that i would be terrible at this game because i haven't played a fighting game since MK trilogy on he N64. Now knowing i would suck and realising i do suck are two different things . Being unable to propely hold my own against people my same rank ( beginer ) was a terrible blow to my pride as a gamer . I don't at all blame the game nor my opponents because it's not their fault , it is my own and it's something hard to admit but admit i shall .

I SUCK AT UMVC3 .

At one point i thought to myself " these guys can't be beginners , they probably just never played ranked matches to wail on the newbees ". This is when i realised i hit rock bottom and had to face the fact that i suck . So instead of going into denial , i am facing the inevitable truth , that i am terrible at the game .

Your turn.

EDIT : the first posts i see are posting genres , i would like to request you post specific games that you have played and sucked at.

I suck at shooters in general, as well as rts games, but since those are the games my friends play in lans, I play them anyway. I do enjoy playing those games, but sometimes I just get really frustrated playing them because I suck.

Racing games. My idea of power sliding is 'Turn in such a way that I bounce off another car and hopefully don't die'.

RTS's.

For some reason, I just cannot do good at them. At all. Every time I play on a difficulty above easy, or go online, I get fucking steamrolled.

And yet, for some insane reason, I keep playing. And I love the genre. I have no idea why.

Most RTS, especially Starcraft.
Jesus, they are unforgiving.

Fighting games.

And DOTA clone games, but I am getting a bit better at those.
By which I mean I've recently upgraded from "totally useless" to "mostly harmless."

RTS games.
I can handle them well enough in single player most of the time - when I have a pause button I can use very, very frequently. In multiplayer or games without pause buttons, however, I'm pretty much screwed.
I think it's just that I don't think at a high speed. Or maybe can't multitask that well.

Ok specific games huh?

LittleBigPlanet. I gave up on that game. Underneath all the cuteness there is an evil that will not allow me to progress past that one level with the rotating electric wheel thingy.

Super Mario Bros. 3 for GBA. Those ice levels. Fuck those ice levels!

I always think I'm pretty good at fighting games, but as soon as I take them online I am immediately shown otherwise.

I am also really bad at RTS's. All the micro-managing and multi-tasking makes my brain freeze and I end up focusing on one unit/group. Which of course ends with me being annihilated.

all online multiplayer games.
and Dragon Age 2
I suuuuuuuuuuuck at that game,
I had to turn the difficulty to casual just to beat the Rock Golem boss thing, and I still haven't beaten the Arishock
Mind you, I do LIKE Dragon Age 2, I just suck at it. I like allot of things I suck at, and hate allot of things I'm good at.

strategy games.

Which is somewhat a shame, because I love Civilization Revolution and I've tried what I could to win the game at the King (medium) difficulty level, no luck so far though.

I even tried to achieve Economic Victory what that level, yet later somehow another Civilization got ahead of me when I was in the lead since the Midevil Era.

Racing games. Not games with driving, hell no, I was raised on GTA. I mean "realistic" driving games. I tend to drive any racecar like I would in GTA i.e: ramming them.
